NATIONAL REPORT. Russia.
The WPF Russia is represented in six major cities.
2025: one new region (Chelyabinsk)
Moscow – six major tournaments
St. Petersburg – three tournaments
Novosibirsk – four tournaments
Tver – three tournaments
Velikiye Luki – two tournaments
Chelyabinsk – four tournaments
In total, over 20 tournaments have been held in 2025!!! And the year isn't over yet!
Every year, we strive to improve the quality of our tournaments and the level of refereeing. The WPF is becoming the best federation in Russia for the quality of its referees. We are recognized for this, and the strongest athletes come to us.
In 2026, we aim to host four international tournaments, with world records, and over 20 national tournaments.
Moscow: June 12-14 – 2026 European Championships (if there is no European contender).
October 15-18 – 2026 World Championships.
St. Petersburg – European Cup.
Chelyabinsk – World Cup.
Russia is a large country, and athletes can't travel from Siberia to Moscow due to expensive logistics. Therefore, we need international competitions in other Russian cities.
I have some ideas about attracting participating countries to the World WPF. I think I could work on this in the near future. But it seems I need a letter from you to do so, authorizing me to conduct negotiations. I then refer everyone to you.
