2021 WPF 23rd Congress Minutes

Due to Covid-19, travel complications and various Nations Government rules the meeting Agenda was circulated to all affiliated Nations and Officers to make replies by no later than 26^th November. No opposing replies were received.

Roll call circulated: David Carter GBR, Phil Beniston GBR, Yuriy Soloview RUS, Vasiliy Filatov RUS, Igor Soloviev RUS, Suresh Kadam IND, Deepak Bagel IND, Coert Hoppenbrouwers HOL, Prince Kennedy Nwamkpa NIG.

22^nd Annual Congress meeting minutes: has been circulated and posted on the web site were approved.

President’s Report: David Carter sent a written report with the Final agenda. The report is attached and approved.

Technical Officers Report:  Within the Presidents report. .

Web Master Report: Igor Soloviev RUS is running a most successful WPF web site which as all up to date with Notices.

Records Officer Report: : Igor Soloviev RUS Manages the safe keep of the World, European and British records.

Both reports attached and approved.

National Affiliates Reports:

GBR – David Carter, President reported that, the BPO were only able to host a most successful 2021 Scottish championship and British Championships. Results and reports are posted on web site. All other championships had to be cancelled due to insufficient lifter entries.

IND – No report.

RUS - Yuri Soloviev, President RPF reported that they hosted the 2021 World Cup Championships on 21^st & 22^nd August with over 250 lifters with many Worlds and European records broken. All other championships had to be cancelled due to C-19.

Other Nations: No reports.

            2022 World Championships – RPF, Moscow, Russia - October 22^nd & 23^rd.

            2023 World Championships – No bids received.

            2024 World Championships – No bids received.
